In what has become one of our most ambitious projects, we successfully dismantled six industrial halls totalling 20,000 m² — recovering over 400 tonnes of premium structural steel.
The Challenge
The client needed all six halls (each approximately 100×20 m) fully dismantled within a strict 10-week window. The site was still partially operational, requiring careful coordination to avoid disruption to ongoing activities.
Our Approach
We deployed three crews working in parallel, with a phased dismantling plan per hall. Each structure was carefully deconstructed, with every steel component labelled and documented for traceability.
A dedicated project manager coordinated logistics and safety on-site throughout the entire operation.
The Results
- 20,000 m² of industrial space processed
- 400 tonnes of steel recovered and catalogued
- 6 halls dismantled ahead of the 10-week deadline
- Zero safety incidents throughout the project
What Happened to the Steel?
All recovered steel has been inspected, catalogued and added to our inventory. Components are available for purchase by buyers across Europe — giving this steel a second life instead of sending it to scrap.
“Resteel managed a massive operation across six halls with precision and transparency. We were impressed by their professionalism and speed.” — Jeroen van der Berg, Site Director
